About the Role
We are looking for a Systems Administrator with 5+ years of proven experience in Windows and/or Linux environments. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in troubleshooting, incident management, server maintenance, patch management, and monitoring. Good knowledge of scripting and familiarity with automation tools and virtualized environments like VMware are essential.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in Windows and/or Linux systems administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).
Strong experience in troubleshooting, incident management, and service requests.
Good knowledge of system updates, patch management, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Experience in server maintenance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery.
Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
Good knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
Ability to clearly document processes, procedures, and configurations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience with Azure (Plus/Valued).
Solid knowledge of monitoring with VMware.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux servers.
English B1/C1 level.
Fluency in Portuguese (Mandatory).
Resident in Portugal (Mandatory).
Available for a hybrid work model in Lisbon and/or Porto.
