About the Role

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst – 3rd Line for the banking sector to provide application and operational support, ensuring service levels are maintained and incidents are analysed and resolved in both technical and functional contexts. The role combines monitoring, alarm management, process improvement, and the development of automation tools to strengthen service control and operational efficiency.

  • At least 5 years of experience in similar application support roles.

  • Strong experience in application and operational support to maintain service levels.

  • Experience in monitoring and alarm management.

  • Ability to develop tools and automations for service management and control.

  • Experience in incident and problem analysis/resolution, both external and internal, technical and functional.

  • Ability to understand and internalize application flows and perform functional analysis.

  • Experience in process analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement of internal tools and procedures.

  • Knowledge of SQL.

  • Knowledge of AIX / Linux operating systems from a user perspective.

  • Strong mix of technical and functional skills.

  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell/Bash and Python.

Working Model

  • Daytime support during normal business hours.

  • Night on-call support on a rotating basis with the rest of the team.

  • On-call is remote only; access is via mobile phone and remote connection.

  • If an issue cannot be resolved remotely, an on-site visit may be required.

  • During on-call weeks, work is 100% remote.

  • In non-on-call weeks, the role follows a hybrid model: 3 days per week in the office.
