About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud / Wintel Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles and 5 years in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Windows Server and Active Directory (AD) administration, focusing on Azure Administration, Monitoring, and Incident Resolution tasks. Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), namely Terraform and Azure DevOps, is essential. The role is remote, with mandatory participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
Years of Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar roles and 5 years in the IT sector.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields.
Azure Administration: OS management, patch management, Kubernetes (AKS), backup management, tags, dashboards, etc.
Azure Monitoring: Monitoring of the Azure platform, Azure resources, Azure DevOps pipeline events, Azure services (managed databases, etc.).
Azure Incident Resolution: Provide technical support, resolve incidents, and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
IaC: Review or develop new Terraform code or Azure DevOps pipelines.
Windows Server Administration: Installation, configuration, and management of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
Active Directory: Manage and troubleshoot AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, including capacity planning and resource allocation.
Linux: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux systems.
Processes: Experience in standard service requests, change management, and provisioning.
Certifications: Azure Certifications (mandatory).
Experience in AWS administration (Valued).
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator certification (Valued).
Languages: English and Spanish level B2/C1 (Mandatory).
Schedule / Work Type: Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation (one week per month). Remote work, must reside in Portugal and be available to travel.
