About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with 7+ years of experience specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design and lead complex cloud transformation initiatives. This senior strategic role focuses on architecting secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized solutions that drive business objectives across enterprise environments, including hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios.

Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture with extensive GCP expertise.
Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-grade GCP solutions at scale.
Experience leading cloud migration strategies, hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, and workload optimization.
Technical Expertise
Deep knowledge of GCP services across all domains:
Compute: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions
Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc
Networking: VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud CDN
Storage: Cloud Storage, Persistent Disk, Filestore
Security: IAM, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center, KMS
Architecture mastery following Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework (Reliability, Security, Cost Optimization, Performance, Operations Excellence).
Advanced Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, GCP Deployment Manager.
Kubernetes expertise (GKE) including Anthos for hybrid/multi-cloud.
Experience designing disaster recovery, high availability, and multi-region architectures.
Cost optimization strategies including FinOps practices and sustained use discounts.
Strategic Skills
Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
Design solutions for compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and enterprise governance.
Lead technical roadmaps and migration planning for complex workloads.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to present architectural decisions.
Preferred Skills
GCP Certifications: Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
Experience with enterprise integrations (SAP, mainframes, legacy systems).
Knowledge of AI/ML workloads (Vertex AI, AutoML) and data analytics pipelines.
Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure) for hybrid scenarios.
SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets) and observability (Cloud Monitoring, Logging).
