About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with 3+ years of experience specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on building reliable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures using GCP services, with emphasis on automation, monitoring, and continuous optimization.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience as Cloud Engineer with focus on GCP.
Proven experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with GCP core services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of GCP services:
Compute: Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run
Data: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub
Networking: VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN
Monitoring: Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager.
Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes orchestration.
Knowledge of GCP security: IAM, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build.
Familiarity with Python or Go for cloud automation scripting.
Core Competencies
Cloud architecture design and cost optimization strategies.
Disaster recovery and high availability planning.
Performance monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud workloads.
Experience working in agile/DevOps environments.
Preferred Skills
GCP Certifications: Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect/DevOps Engineer.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Knowledge of serverless architectures (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
Experience with BigQuery for analytics and AI/ML services (Vertex AI).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) integrated with GCP.
