About the Role
We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Purview and Sensitivity Labels, hands-on DLP experience, and a solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The role focuses on building a Copilot-ready classification taxonomy, configuring labels and auto-labeling, managing DLP policies, and documenting governance controls for security, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Design and maintain a Copilot-ready classification taxonomy and implement it in Microsoft Purview.
Configure and optimize Sensitivity Labels to control Copilot access and data extraction.
Build and maintain auto-labeling policies for existing and newly created data.
Define and manage DLP policies to protect sensitive and regulated information.
Monitor and document governance controls using Purview Audit Logs and eDiscovery.
Work closely with IT Security, Compliance, Legal, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in Data Governance.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Purview and Sensitivity Labels.
Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and hands-on DLP experience.
A Master’s degree in Information Governance, Data Protection, or IT Security is a plus.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, DLP) are beneficial and may substitute formal education.
Fluency in English.
