About the Role
We are looking for a Database Administrator DB2 LUW (Linux) to analyze, tune, and support Linux-based mid-to-large DB2 database instances in high-performance environments. The role includes administration, troubleshooting, integration work, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to keep core datasets reliable, fast, scalable, and responsive.

Successfully completed technical studies in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or similar experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in administration and troubleshooting of IBM DB2 LUWdatabase management systems.
Strong experience in high-performance environments.
Excellent understanding of Linux administration (SLES, CentOS).
Experience with VMware virtualization as a user.
Experience in DB2 LUW integration with Siebel or Cognos.
Proficiency in statement/procedure optimization.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work once a week in the office in Venda do Pinheiro or Lisbon/Porto, depending on location.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze and tune Linux-based mid-to-large DB2 database instances.
Maintain and improve the core datasets used for daily business operations.
Adapt to existing frameworks and contribute to the definition of future ones.
Deliver solutions that are reliable, fast, scalable, and responsive.
Work in multidisciplinary teams with frontend and backend developers, mainframe specialists, technology architects, and operations colleagues.
