About the Role
We are looking for a Demand & Portfolio Manager to manage IT demand intake, prioritization, and portfolio governance in a multi-stakeholder environment. The role requires strong judgment, excellent written communication, and the ability to balance competing business priorities while ensuring security, compliance, and transition readiness.

Responsibilities
Manage the IT demand intake process, including structuring, categorization, and prioritization.
Maintain the IT portfolio backlog as the single source of truth for all requests.
Lead weekly alignment meetings with BU IT Leads and communicate prioritization decisions clearly.
Ensure security and compliance requirements are validated before implementation.
Produce monthly portfolio reports covering demand volumes, priorities, backlog, and stakeholder feedback.
Coordinate demand freeze processes during transition phases.
Prepare and manage IT handover packs for each Business Unit.
Conduct structured handover sessions and secure formal sign-off.
Update portfolio scope and adjust capacity planning after transition.
Act as the central point of contact between IT and Business Units.
Manage competing priorities and escalate conflicts when necessary.
Ensure all decisions are clearly documented and communicated in writing.
Requirements
4–6 years of experience in IT Demand Management, IT Business Relationship Management, or IT Portfolio Management.
Proven ability to operate in multi-stakeholder environments where competing priorities are the norm.
Comfortable delivering difficult decisions, including structured refusals, deferrals, and scope reductions to senior business stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with IT portfolio or service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Strong written communication skills, including decision logs and formal written updates.
Fluent in English.
German, Dutch, or another European language is an advantage.
