About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Front-end Senior Developer to join our team in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra, working in a hybrid model (1 day per week on-site). This role will focus on building advanced, scalable, and interactive front-end applications using React, Next.js, and related modern web technologies. You will work closely with backend and design teams to deliver seamless, real-time, and accessible user experiences.
Requirements
Education: University degree (minimum 3 years) in Engineering, Information Technology, Management, or Economics.
5+ years of frontend development experience using ReactJS, with strong experience in Redux.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR) concepts.
Proficiency in Node.js and experience integrating WebSocket or SSE into front-end architectures.
Strong knowledge of component-based architecture and experience building and maintaining reusable UI components.
Proven experience implementing Server-Driven UI (SDUI) and rendering dynamic UI elements from backend-driven schemas.
Familiarity with chat prompt design patterns and conversational UI paradigms (e.g., AI assistant UIs, feedback forms, inline interaction).
Solid understanding of accessibility (a11y) standards and responsive design principles.
Experience working in Agile environments, using tools such as Jira, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
