About the Role
We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician (Datacenter) to support the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of critical datacenter infrastructures, including physical servers, virtualization environments, storage systems, and backups. The role involves hands-on technical work in hardware, operating systems, and virtualization, with opportunities for growth in cloud and automation environments.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, contributing to infrastructure stability, modernization projects, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and monitor datacenter infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, and backup systems.
Perform installation, support, and troubleshooting tasks in VMware, HPE, and/or Dellenvironments.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and patching of servers and operating systems.
Support backup management and recovery processes.
Participate in technological upgrade, migration, and capacity expansion projects.
Maintain comprehensive and updated technical documentation.
Collaborate with senior infrastructure and automation teams, focusing on technical knowledge growth and process improvement.
Technical Requirements
Degree in Computer Engineering, Networks, or Systems Administration.
Foundational knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and server technologies (HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, or similar).
Basic experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi (installation, monitoring, patching).
Understanding of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
General knowledge of networking, security, and storage systems (SAN/NAS).
Strong troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
