About the Role
We are opening a new position for a Senior Backend Developer to collaborate with our team on new initiatives, focusing on robust backend development. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot, solid knowledge of microservices architecture, and proficiency in cloud environments with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes. The technical validation process will include a live coding exercise and will be conducted entirely in English.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields.Years of Experience: 5+ years of backend development experience with Java and strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services.
Experience with reactive Java using Mono / WebFlux programming.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Strong experience in API design and RESTful services.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Location Requirements: Candidates must be living in Portugal.
Work Location: Hybrid (1 day/week on-site) in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra.
Language Requirements: Minimum English level: B2 (fluency required). Profile must be submitted in English.
