About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-native data pipeline development in Microsoft environments, alongside solid capabilities in data architecture, modeling, and scalable analytics solutions. The role requires both technical depth and leadership to drive high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective data platforms that support business decision-making across the organization.

Required Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native solutions and data architecture.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide teams and communicate effectively.
Technical Skills
Strong experience in end-to-end data architecture and design, including ingestion, modeling, storage, and orchestration such as Medallion architecture.
Proficiency in cloud-native engineering, with a focus on Microsoft technologies such as Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse, while remaining open to comparable tools in AWS or Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data lake solutions such as BigQuery, Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Amazon Redshift.
Proficiency in Python with data-related libraries such as Pandas and Boto3, as well as SQLand/or Spark.
Strong knowledge of RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and MS SQL Server, or NoSQLdatabases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and GBQ.
Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to implement data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring at scale.
Proven ability to optimize pipelines and storage solutions for performance, cost, and reliability.

Capability to explain complex engineering choices clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
