About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a project with a strong Shift-Left culture, emphasizing quality from the earliest stages of development. The role involves analyzing requirements, creating and executing manual tests, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementing UI and API test automation using Cypress and JavaScript.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.

  • Design, maintain, and execute manual test cases.

  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory tests.

  • Support and monitor User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Automate UI and API tests using Cypress and JavaScript.

  • Log, track, and validate defects and bug fixes.

  • Contribute to the testing strategy and continuous improvement of QA processes.

  • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum or Kanban environment.

  • Promote continuous quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.

  • Experience in manual and functional testing.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Experience writing test cases and acceptance criteria.


Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with test automation using Cypress.

  • Good knowledge of JavaScript.

  • Experience in API testing.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Proactivity in identifying risks, improvements, and test coverage gaps.

  • Collaboration and teamwork in a cross-functional environment.
