About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior AI Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Airflow (Cloud Composer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python, hands-on experience with data workflows, and solid knowledge of SQL. Exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI) foundations and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Python and Airflow (Cloud Composer).
Work with GCP services to design and implement scalable data solutions.
Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
Exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI) foundations and Large Language Models (LLMs) – at least 6 months of foundational knowledge (Valued).
Location: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Remote/On-site). Candidates must be living in Portugal.
Language Requirements: Minimum English level: B2 (fluency required). Profile must be submitted in English.
