About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our technical team in Lisbon (hybrid model). The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance, combining skills in observability, cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps culture. You will play a central role in maintaining high system availability while continuously improving monitoring, deployment, and recovery processes.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, with significant focus on the ELK stack.

  • Proven experience working in a DevOps environment and culture.

  • Hands-on experience in the implementation and maintenance of observability platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and supporting cloud-based service infrastructures.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

    • Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration

    • Kafka, Prometheus, N8N, Ansible, GitHub, and Terraform

  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and PowerShell.

  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and related protocols.

  • Good knowledge of cloud concepts, services, and tools in both AWS and Azure ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies and tools.

Certifications

  • Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) certification (mandatory or in progress).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Autonomy and accountability in managing technical operations.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in bilingual environments.

Proactive mindset focused on system resilience and continuous improvement. Language Requirements

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory)
