About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior 3rd Line Application Support Engineer for a banking sector project, responsible for application and operational support to maintain service levels, incident and problem management, and development of automation tools for service control. The role involves monitoring and alerting management, deep understanding of application flows, process improvement, and on-call night support in rotation with the team.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar 3rd line application support roles.
SQL knowledge for query analysis and data operations.
Knowledge of AIX/Linux operating systems (user-level proficiency).
Mix of technical and functional skills for comprehensive support coverage.
Intermediate/Advanced scripting (e.g., Shell/Bash, Python) for tool development and automation.
Experience in application support and operational maintenance to ensure service levels.
Monitoring and alerting management across critical banking systems.
Incident and problem analysis/resolution (external/internal, technical/functional).
Understanding of application flows and functional analysis.
Process analysis, documentation, and improvement of internal tools and workflows.
Availability for standard hours support with rotating night on-call duty.
Language Requirements
English B2 or higher (nice to have).
Portuguese fluency (preferred for team coordination and client interaction).
