About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Application Support Engineer for the financial sector, providing 2nd/3rd line application support with a focus on service level management, incident resolution, and process automation. The role involves monitoring and alerting, collaboration with technical/functional teams, documentation, continuous improvement, and 24/7 on-call support with rotation.
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in application support roles.
Strong functional analysis skills for troubleshooting and optimization.
SQL/MySQL knowledge for database querying and analysis.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., KSH/Bash, Python, Perl).
Knowledge of Ethernet networks (TCP/IP).
Familiarity with REST APIs for integration and testing.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems.
Daily activities include: 2nd/3rd line support, procedure knowledge and task automation, service level monitoring/control, problem identification and monitoring solutions, technical/functional team communication, documentation creation/updates, internal process analysis/improvement, incident/problem resolution, and 24/7 support with on-call rotation.
Development of tools and processes for service management.
Language Requirements
English B2 or higher (nice to have).
Portuguese fluency (preferred for team and stakeholder interaction).
