About the Role
We are looking for a System Administrator to join our Systems & Computing team, responsible for managing and operating virtualized infrastructure, Windows Server environments, and Microsoft Azure platforms. The role requires strong technical expertise, autonomous troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to infrastructure optimization and security.

Responsibilities
Administer and operate virtualized infrastructure (VMware / Hyper-V).
Manage the lifecycle of virtual machines.
Administer Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs).
Operate and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Support the management of critical application platforms.
Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents in production environments.
Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization activities.
Implement security best practices and hardening measures.
Execute upgrades, patches, and planned maintenance.
Collaborate with vendors and technology partners.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Contribute actively to continuous improvement of infrastructure and processes.
Requirements (Mandatory)
Proven experience as a System Administrator (mid-level profile).
Practical experience with VMware / Hyper-V / Azure Local environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
Solid networking knowledge.
Experience in Microsoft environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Ability to perform autonomous troubleshooting in production environments.
Experience with scripting.
Experience with containers (e.g., Microsoft AKS).
Proven professional experience in the Portuguese market, knowledge of national business and regulatory context, and legal status that allows immediate and continuous work in Portugal.
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Exposure to containerized environments.
Experience with enterprise application platforms.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Experience in critical or regulated environments.
Awareness of information security topics.
